You’ll be leading the charge in one of the most exciting and complex industries we serve - telco.

This isn’t a maintenance role. It’s a builder role for someone who loves to open doors, create structure, and drive growth from the front.

You’ll focus on enterprise-scale carriers, OEMs, contractors, and tower companies - connecting with senior executives across operations, transformation, and customer experience.

What You’ll Be Owning (and Loving)

Strategy, Alignment & Growth

  • Define and execute a go-to-market strategy for the Americas telco segment.
  • Build and expand executive-level relationships across Fortune 500 telco and infrastructure companies.
  • Develop account plans, deal strategies, and growth playbooks for new logo acquisition and expansion.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Partnerships, and Customer Success to ensure we deliver measurable value.

Sales Execution & Leadership

  • Lead enterprise-level sales cycles from prospect to close - navigating multi-stakeholder buying groups and long procurement processes.
  • Apply MEDDPICC methodology to qualify, advance, and close deals with rigor and repeatability.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline hygiene and forecast accuracy through HubSpot (we’re sticklers for good data).
  • Orchestrate internal deal teams across Solutions Engineering, Legal, and Finance.
  • Coach, support, and inspire others on the team to build momentum and consistency.

Operational Excellence

  • Drive a structured cadence of prospecting, outbound activity, and pipeline reviews to ensure continuous new logo creation.
  • Use data, KPIs, and insights to guide decisions and improve performance.
  • Deliver predictable results through disciplined territory management and consistent execution.
  • Own your forecast - and make it one the business can depend on.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Confidently communicate complex value propositions to C-suite executives through compelling stories and data.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing and Product to shape messaging and solutions that resonate with customers.
  • Be transparent and disciplined in your communication - internally and externally.
  • Represent Joyous with authenticity and credibility at industry events and with strategic partners.

A Bit About You

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience with a record of exceeding quota and landing net-new logos.
  • Deep experience in the telco vertical - you know the players, the procurement process, and the politics.
  • Comfortable managing long, complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Skilled at building trust with executive decision-makers and influencing strategic outcomes.
  • Data-driven, disciplined, and operationally sharp - but also creative and people-first.
  • Experience in early-stage or scaling SaaS startups a big plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed across the Americas.
